Family Home Reimagined

A newly purchased house is transformed into a family’s dream home.

A newly purchased Calabasas house was a dream come true for a young family. Located in a community that they loved, it was pure potential for the life they imagined.

But the house didn’t feel like their home.

While it was important to feel inviting and comfortable, they also wanted to create a “stunning” first impression. Their home should be formal yet casual; family-oriented yet sophisticated; practical yet elegant. They envisioned their many friends and family comfortably “hanging out.” Their young daughter would happily play with friends.

Consequently, the whole house was transformed to reflect their taste and casually elegant lifestyle. With beautiful hardwood floors throughout, the living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, and bedrooms and bathrooms were updated with new furnishings, cabinetry and appliances. Their artwork collection was highlighted against a neutral color palette. Working from home was motivated by the French-inspired front office.
