This homeowner, an empty-nester, loved to cook elaborate Chinese food with her son, also a gourmet cook. Their current floor plan included a large family room and small kitchen/dining room.  

Their vision was to flip rooms and transform the family room into an extensive kitchen with two islands and a pantry.

 

They selected modern cabinets in warm wood tones and stainless steel appliances for a sleek contemporary look. Two large islands provided a prep sink and extra counter space and seating.

 

The original kitchen was transformed into a beautiful dining room with a custom  bar and  storage.

 

With a stunning view of the Long Beach Harbor, the remodeled  house was ready for family meals and entertainment.
